Eight O'Clock Coffee

Eight OClock coffee has a long history of making great coffee that date all the back to 1859. The coffee was first sold in The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P) stores as one of its signature offerings but did not get its brand name "8 O'Clock" until 1919.

In 1919 The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company survey the company conducted in 1919. surveyed there customers asking them "what is there most popular time(s) they drank coffee". The survey's results showed that 8 am and 8 pm were the most popular thus the name 8 O'Clock Coffee.
